While some cravings are good ones because your body is telling you what it needs–such as protein, green veggies, etc..

If you find your body keeps sending you to that frozen yoghurt shop or the chocloate section of the grocery store, or you can't resist the impulse the have some pankcakes and syrup before bed….hmmmm, that might make you pause to wonder why.

I was just having a conversation this am about the very subject in the following article as I have had countless times. It seems like science is substantiating this theory that the microbes are creating those cravings that make you eat in a way that is not best for you.

Why is this? Becuase these are living organisms that want to stay alive. In order to do so, they require food to proliferate. That food that they require is largely sweets–so when you are winning the battle and reducing that overgrowth, those cravings often will become more fierce.

It is then one must use every ounce of intellect and willpower to fight off that seductive craving that "makes" you eat the choclate cake or have that glass of wine. Later, when your gut is in better balance, it is not difficult at all. You can walk away without a second blink of an eye.
