There are times when antibiotics are a matter of life and death. I am very grateful that we have them for that reason. I for one can testify to being saved by them on more than one occasion in my life. I am however, also one that can say that they nearly destroyed me, because I did not know or understand, like so many people, that they are widely overly prescribed and given in so many circumstances they should not be.

IN so many cases, antibiotics can be avoided and should be avoided. People simply have not been educated in how to take these steps or measures. Confidence in such things comes from being educated. This is part of what my goal is in the treatment of my patients-education in long-term care.

There are some antibiotics that are worse than others. This article was just sent to me, and I think it is very worth while sharing it. I have to warn-there is certain terminology within this article I do not agree with because I do think the body can regain its balance and health with the right kind of treatment.
