Old Post:
The pharmacy list I gave several posts ago are general and for many different types of infections-viral or bacterial. However, added to that list-just in case, would be dianthus formula and chuan xin lian.
I will use a different combination of things in the event of UTI and nearly never have to have a patient resort to antibiotics for this, but, having all of the various things on hand at the onset of this can be critical to not loose the precious hours that one needs to get the bacteria moving in the better direction.
So best to have on hand, ear formula gan mao ling #2, goldenseal, dianthus formula and chuan xin lian.
New Post:
If you wake up in the middle of the night with a UTI, take 2 ear 2 GML #2 and one goldenseal–stop the rest of your herbs immediately and contact me in the morning. This combination is generally necessary to take 4 times per day for about one week's time.
9 out of 10 times this combo will be enough, although sometimes dianthus formula and or chuan xin lian are important to have.
Getting caught off guard without the proper herbs on hand can mean going to the ER and taking antibiotics, which, may be avoided otherwise. I strongly suggest having them on hand. I personally am never out of herbs in my home. I always have these emergency herbs on hand, these and the others I have mentioned in previous posts. This way no time is lost, as one may not have a lot of time with infections, which multiply quickly once they have taken hold of your body.
