I want to address a common question that comes up in people discussing my treatment. The Cure. It is important that I underscore the fact that I have no proof of nor do I represent this treatment as something that can cure IC.
In order to do that, I would need to set up a western based study, have each person undergo an hydrodistention, the most generally accepted form of diagnosis of IC, undergo my treatment and lastly undergo another hydrodistention to prove the condition has been cured. To date, I have not conducted such a study. I therefor can not represent my treatment as a cure.
What I can say is that I work toward re-establishing people's healthy balance. I have been able to get people's symptoms to reduce to a point where they are able to return to eating almost completely normally (I limit alcohol, processed sugar, mushrooms, soy, and coconut) and to feel that they have their life back with very minimal symptoms and sometimes none. They should also be able to engage in a normal sex life. I never ever claim that this is a cure nor that I can cure. But, I do relate that I can help you get your life back in the way I described above.
Perhaps one day, I will conduct some study that is less invasive that would render pertinent information that would outline when these percentages actually are. But, conducting studies would take a lot of time and that time would take away from the time I have to dedicate to those in need of my help. This is another reason I have not engaged in anything such as this.
If you go through treamtment with success, you should be able to go to restaurants and not worry about every ingredient in the food. Yo uwill be able to relax and enjoy life and not focus on the fact you have been diagnosed with this condition or even think about it much at all. You will need to be careful to eat in a healthy balanced way. I recommend this for all people, not just those having gone through this.
I beleive that health is dynamic-always changing. If one does not take care of one's self, this balance will be disrupted and illness will predominate. If ones is careful, eats well, keeps an healthy mind, and is careful to not engage in a toxic lifestyle, he or she should remain healthy.
I hope this clarifies this topic-at least for now.
