I am so food based that I focus much of my attention to it. Obviosuly, I also focus on products too, but, not …CLOTHES.

I was sitting around with some friends the other night and the conversation turned to fashion. This isnt really my subject, so feeling out of place, I walked over to another group. But, my friend who is an X fashion person and and huge health advocate stayed and listened. She ran back over to me and recounted the conversation. She said that there are all of these toxic chemicals in clothing that are allowed here in the states whereas in Europe, most of them are prohibited. They are carcingoenci chemicals, the topic here was specifically something called AZO.

I am posting one of the first things that came up today when I googled it. I plan on reseraching this further of course now that I am aware of it. I am not so worried about IC symptoms from it, but, I am worried about potential cancer being caused in any of us from chronic exposure-or to our children.

So, if anyone find interesting things on line on this subject–please post it here and also if there is any info on what clothing lines do not contain these chemicals-post that oo. Someone the other night said a chain called H&M does not allow those chemicals. I have shopped there before and I have to say, once I verify that fact as true, that is going to replace a lot of my shopping habits. I really dont shop much bc it is my least favorite thing to do. But, the little I do, I will do there and they have a children’s line, I will buy their clothes instead.
