I always recommend keeping exposure to chemicals at a minimum. Such as: using hair dyes that are less toxic–those found in health-food stores, not going to get your nails done in hair salons where the smell of nail finishes are impossible to avoid inhaling, not using or exposing your skin to direct contact with house cleaning chemicals. Chemicals are everywhere, we certainly cannot live in a bubble. But, we can keep our awareness up and limit our exposure to chemical toxins to the best of our ability.
